Job summary

ShopRite of Lincoln Park in New Jersey is seeking an Online Shopping Clerk to take customer orders from the ShopRite website, select items, bag, and pack orders for pickup or delivery. You will also handle payments and ensure accurate communication of any order issues to customers.

Responsibilities include identifying products, substituting when needed, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while providing friendly customer service to shoppers in-store.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills required.
• Able to stand/walk for the duration of shift.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Able to handle products without allergic issues.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Identify products and select top quality items.
• Substitute items when out of stock and communicate with customers.
• Bag and organize customer orders for pickup or delivery.
• Process payments (cash, card, EBT, coupons, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Assist customers and provide friendly service.
