Job summary

Limestone County Board of Education is seeking an ACCESS FACILITATOR INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT to support online instruction and assist in-classroom activities. The role requires coordinating with the E-teacher and helping students navigate digital platforms.

Responsibilities include supervising students, managing behavior in both physical and virtual classrooms, and assisting with minor tech issues while ensuring timely attendance reporting and task completion.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of higher education or Work Keys test required.
• Experience working with students with disabilities and ability to manage dependent students.

Responsibilities

• Participate in professional development activities.
• Remain in the classroom during the class period to supervise and assist students.
• Monitor student behavior in the classroom and virtual setting.
• Communicate daily with the E-teacher.
• Assist students with minor technology issues.
• Ensure students stay on task and on pace.
• Ensure integrity of students' work and attendance reporting.
• Provide training to staff on using email and online courses.
• Serve as a resource to the sending teacher.
• Report technical issues to the support center and school technology staff.
• Provide necessary training to local staff for equipment operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
