Job summary

Concordia University Wisconsin invites applicants to the full-time position of Instructional Designer. The Instructional Designer supports the design, development, and maintenance of learner-focused courses including online and virtual deliveries.

As a member of the CELT team, you will collaborate with subject matter experts and faculty to create an excellent student experience. This is a full-time position, located on the Mequon, WI Campus.

Qualifications

• Minimum master’s degree in instructional design or related field.
• Experience designing online/virtual courses.
• Familiarity with Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise.
• Certification in Quality Matters encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the instructional design process to ensure timely, high-quality courses.
• Design courses aligned with research and department quality indicators.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and chairs to develop courses.
• Create and edit multimedia elements as needed.
• Maintain courses using publisher resources and e-learning tools.
• Develop templates and processes for online learning.
• Conduct quality reviews and maintain master courses.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
• Support course improvements and participate in campus activities.
• Complete related tasks as requested.
