Job summary

Goodwin University seeks an Instructional Designer to provide pedagogical support and related technology to faculty, focusing on online courses and materials that enhance student satisfaction, success, and retention of a diverse learner population. The role collaborates with administration, chairs, program directors, and other teams to advance online education initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Instructional Design experience.
• Master’s degree in instructional/educational technology or related field.
• Experience developing & supporting online degree programs.
• Experience administering Canvas or another LMS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Online team to monitor and investigate learning techniques and educational technology trends.
• Identify, develop & deliver new online degree programs with academic departments.
• Serve as in-house expert on instructional design methodologies and evaluate new products.
• Ensure compliance with state authorization and accreditation standards.
• Write instructional copy, audio scripts, and video scripts.
• Work with faculty and SMEs to apply instructional design technologies to course development.
