Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End/To Go operations leader responsible for managing the Food Lion To Go program, hiring and developing front-end and online order staff, and driving customer service excellence within the store. You will implement scheduling, training, and performance management to meet business targets and ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires strong leadership, store operations knowledge, and a dedication to Food Lion's values.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to lead and manage a team.
Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
Must be NR Food Safety Professionals or able to obtain certification within 90 days; maintain accreditation while employed.

Responsibilities

Manage the Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
Supervise performance and provide ongoing coaching and formal appraisals for direct reports.
Maintain effective work schedules for To Go associates to meet online order demand and minimize customer inconvenience.
Provide leadership to promote our Guiding Principles, Core Values, and strategy.
Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
Coordinate with department managers to ensure fresh orders and proper handling of stock.
