Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk in Wheeling, WV. You will select and assemble online orders with emphasis on freshness and quality, and assist customers at pickup to ensure a positive experience.

Responsibilities include scanning, bagging, substitutions handling, and delivering orders to customers' cars. This role requires strong customer service and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' online orders with freshness and quality.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders into customers' cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Follow food safety procedures and store policies.
