Job summary

Kroger in Tomball, TX is hiring an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk. You will select and gather products for online orders with emphasis on freshness, process coupons and payments, and load orders into customers' cars at pickup.

As an In-Store Grocery Shopper you will ensure accuracy, follow bagging standards, and communicate substitutions to customers while maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for online orders with emphasis on freshness and quality.
• In-store shopper initiates and completes the selection process for online orders.
• Assemble online orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders for pickup.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for easy shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines on food safety.
• Receive orders from Order Selector and store items in appropriate temperature zones.
• Ensure order accuracy and load orders into customers' cars.
• Provide positive customer service to encourage return visits.
