Job summary

Kroger in The Woodlands, TX is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk (In-Store Grocery Shopper) to select and gather products for customers' online orders with emphasis on freshness. You will assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders to customers' cars at pickup.

The role requires friendly customer service, accuracy, and adherence to bagging standards and safety procedures. You will communicate substitutions as needed to ensure a smooth pickup experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for online orders efficiently with attention to freshness.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes selection process for online orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders on the go while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Maintain staging areas and equipment cleanliness.
