Job summary

Fred Meyer in Washington state is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk to efficiently select and assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders into customers' cars at pickup. Deliver a positive customer service experience while maintaining freshness and quality.

Responsibilities include scanning, bagging, substitutions communication, and ensuring order accuracy in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production/warehouse environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk selects and gathers products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the order selection process.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders to cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup time.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize staging areas and equipment.
