Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring for an order-picking/retail associate focused on preparing online customer orders with accuracy and speed. You will assist customers, know product details, and uphold food safety standards to ensure fresh, correctly priced orders.

Qualifications

• Six or more months of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum age 16; 21 in Louisiana.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification where applicable.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of food quality standards and temperature/refrigeration standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare online orders by accurately selecting products from shelves and organizing for pickup.
• Identify out-of-stocks, suggest substitutions of similar value, and promote advertised specials.
• Ensure accurate checkout totals by weighing, pricing, and scanning items.
• Maintain knowledge of product and food safety standards to ensure freshness.
• Load ordered items into customer vehicles and assist customers as needed.
