Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced educators to teach ESL students based in Asia, focusing on personalized lessons in a 1-on-1 setting. This independent contractor role offers a flexible schedule of 50-minute classes during the mornings (5-9 AM EST) with a base rate of $20 USD, plus bonuses.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of experience teaching K-12 ELA or ESL, with a passion for helping students learn in a fun and engaging online environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
