Job summary

Cosmo is looking for enthusiastic educators to join their team as tutors. Responsibilities include providing personalized 1-on-1 instruction and preparing lesson materials for K-12 students, primarily focused on ESL. Tutors will work with students based in Asia, typically between 5-9 AM EST, and must maintain a reliable and fun learning environment.

This is an independent contractor position with a base rate of $20 USD per hour, plus additional bonuses. Candidates should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson
