Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC seeks an online K–12 teacher for Florida residents to lead core content instruction in a virtual setting. The role requires delivering live, interactive lessons, monitoring student progress, and coordinating with families and the Principal to ensure academic and social-emotional growth.

The position may involve travel for in-person state testing and events; a valid Florida teaching license and knowledge of state standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Current State teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years’ experience teaching.
• High level of comfort in growth-focused coaching with frequent observations.
• High quality written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor in core content areas and grade levels.
• Meet goals related to student achievement, culture, and state accountability.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student need.
• Complete course setup for each course in the LMS.
• Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses and provide feedback daily.
• Maintain contact with each student and communicate with families.
• Collaborate with Principal to deliver Progress Reports of Students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Integrate 21st century technology in daily practice.
• Travel a few times per year for in-person state testing and events.
