Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking an online K-12 teacher to serve as the teacher of record across core subjects. You will deliver live lessons, set up courses in the LMS, and monitor progress in asynchronous formats. Travel for state testing will occur several times a year.

Requires a current Florida teaching license, knowledge of standards, and strong communication skills. This is a fully remote role with occasional in-person obligations across Florida.

Qualifications

• Current State teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years' experience teaching.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor in core content areas and grade levels.
• Deliver highly effective live lessons via web conference based on student need.
• Complete course setup for each course in the LMS.
• Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses and provide feedback daily.
• Track and maintain contact with each student.
• Collaborate with Principal to create Progress Reports of Students.
• Review student level data to inform instructional adjustments.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Utilize research-based practices in synchronous and asynchronous delivery.
• Travel to support required face-to-face state testing annually.
