Job summary

The Book Nook is seeking USA-based math tutors to support students across the United States with pre-designed lesson content. Tutors work as independent contractors (1099) with sessions typically 30 minutes within a 4:00 PM–7:00 PM ET window on weekdays, and may tutor more hours as available.

Schedules follow the school year (September–May) and require at least 80% attendance of claimed sessions. A college degree and online instruction experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Classroom teacher, EL/ESL/ELL, tutoring, coaching, or similar student support, online instruction experience with a college degree preferred.
• Deliver pre-designed, best-practice math lessons to provide targeted support for students often seeking to improve skills and topics at or below grade level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver math lessons using provided content and practice extensions.
• Support students across the USA with consistent weekly sessions and maintain attendance as scheduled.
