Job summary

Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part-Time Nursing Faculty to teach in our online BSN program. You will serve as facilitator, role model, coach and advisor, weaving Chamberlain Care philosophy into an online culture where students thrive and graduate as outstanding nursing professionals.

Part-time professors lead asynchronous discussions and teach synchronous live lectures each week, with AM/PM options, and will be available via email, online conferencing or telephone to support students.

Qualifications

Must be able to teach in-person in the Chicagoland area
MSN or higher required for nursing faculty
Illinois RN licensure (unencumbered) required to teach all courses
2+ years of experience teaching didactic nursing courses for a college or university; Canvas experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide students with a Chamberlain-approved syllabus and learning objectives.
Organize, prepare, and regularly revise course materials.
Manage autonomous teaching loads and ensure alignment with course objectives.
Model effective communication and be available for student remediation as needed.
