Job summary

Chamberlain University seeks a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty member to teach in the Online BSN Nursing program in St Paul, MN. You will mentor students in-person at an inpatient clinical setting, connecting classroom learning and simulations to real-world patient care.

No teaching experience is required, but strong clinical experience and an MSN are encouraged to apply. Scheduling spans 8-week sessions with 12-hour shifts, and coordination with course needs.

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network).
• Unencumbered RN license in Minnesota.
• At least two years of professional experience in instruction as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Implements College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service.
• Plans clinical experiences and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
• Maintains liaison with agencies and provides remediation as required.
• Evaluates student performance and provides timely feedback on course objectives.
• Develops and posts written clinical assignments aligned with students' knowledge and skills.
• Works with college administration and staff to improve operations and student satisfaction.
• May teach didactic content under supervision and keeps the course coordinator informed.

Two years teaching experience
