Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered RN license in Minnesota.
• Active BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross/Military).
• At least two years of recent nursing instruction experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching.
• Plans clinical experiences and supervises/evaluates nursing students.
• Evaluates and provides documented feedback to students on performance based on course objectives.
• Orients and maintains current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Develops and posts written clinical assignments aligned with students' knowledge and skill levels.
• Corrects and returns homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments and clinical paperwork timely.
• Contributes to ongoing development and evaluation of programs and the College.
• May teach didactic course content under supervision of course coordinator.
