Job summary

Chamberlain College of Nursing is seeking Part-Time Clinical Instructors to join our dynamic faculty and support students in our BSN program. This role focuses on senior nursing students and leadership/management aspects of nursing practice with clinical and didactic responsibilities.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required at certain clinical partner sites. The instructor will provide supervision, evaluate student performance, and coordinate with the course coordinator and dean.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing is required.
• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Excellent communication skills with high initiative and prudent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service.
• Plans clinical experiences and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
• Grades assignments and provides feedback on performance relative to course objectives.
• Maintains current knowledge of agency/clinical policies and expectations.
• Develops written clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge and learning needs.
• May teach didactic course content under supervision of course coordinator.
