Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• 2+ years nursing experience as an RN within last five years.
• Excellent communication skills with initiative and prudent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Implements the college's philosophy, curriculum and course objectives through clinical teaching and service.
• Plans clinical experiences and oversees nursing students in clinical settings.
• Evaluates student performance and provides documented feedback.
• Provides remediation as needed and stays current with policies and procedures.
• Develops and posts clinical assignments aligned with learning needs.
• Grants timely grades for homework, quizzes, tests and clinical work.
• May teach didactic content under supervision.
• Communicates with course coordinator about student and agency issues.
• Reports to dean; course coordinator oversight.
