Central Bucks School District is seeking a Full-time Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support a student with various needs in Groveland Elementary School. The role runs the full school day with a fixed schedule and benefits.

The position requires teamwork, good judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with students and staff. Training includes crisis prevention techniques; 90-day provisional employment applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required at time of hire.
• Must work as a team member and exercise good judgment.
• Effective communication with students and adults is essential.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to a student with autism, emotional/behavioral, intellectual or medical needs within classroom, specials, lunch and recess.
• Assist student with daily academic and social activities.
• Follow IEP guidelines and crisis-prevention techniques as trained.
