Job summary

Virtua Health invites applications for a One-to-One Observer position at Burlington Hospital. This on-site, full-time role supports patient safety with constant individual observation and calm, professional interaction.

You will work closely with the healthcare team to monitor patients and respond to changes in condition. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and completion of an Observer course.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent mandatory.
• Strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient including a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient's status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
