Job summary

Virtua Health in Marlton, NJ seeks a One-to-One Observer to provide continuous patient monitoring and ensure a safe, supportive environment. The role will also communicate with and support the healthcare team, patients and families, upholding high ethical standards.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and successful completion of an Observer course or equivalent. The role involves teamwork and adherence to clinical policies in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.

• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient's status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
