Job summary

Boston Public Schools is seeking One-to-One Paraprofessionals to provide individualized support to students with various disabilities. Candidates will assist in daily instructional activities and personal hygiene needs while collaborating closely with teachers and engaging effectively with parents.

Preferred candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, relevant college coursework, and experience with children with disabilities. The position offers a dynamic school environment prioritizing individualized support.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Forty-eight (48) credit hours in college coursework or an Associate's degree.
• Experience with students diagnosed with mild to moderate disabilities required.
• Demonstrated ability to work with students, parents, and staff.
• Trained in ABA and flexible to accommodate student needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional support to students.
• Assist with personal hygiene and physical mobility needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement daily lesson plans.
• Maintain open communication with parents and staff.
