Job summary

Boston Public Schools, Boston Green Academy, Boston, MA, seeks a One-to-One Paraprofessional to support a student with individual instruction and daily activities. The role requires flexibility to meet student needs and ongoing collaboration with the school team.

The paraprofessional will assist with instructional tasks, transfers, and personal care, working under the supervision of classroom staff. A valid high school diploma and ABA training are required.

Qualifications

• Education and credentials as listed: high school diploma or GED and 48 credit hours/associate degree or eligible by standardized assessments.
• Experience with students with disabilities and collaboration with families, staff and administrators.
• Trained in ABA and able to adapt to student needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct service to individual students under supervision of the teacher.
• Participate in daily instruction and activities of the school and class.
• Assist with personal care, transfers, and behavior support as needed.
• Collaborate with classroom staff to implement lesson plans and communicate with parents.
• Follow regulations and maintain safety and privacy standards.
