Boston Public Schools Horace Mann School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Boston, MA is seeking a One-to-One Paraprofessional to provide direct service to individual students and support daily instruction. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 48 college credits or an Associate's Degree or passing scores on ParaPro or WorkKeys.
• Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities.
• Ability to work with parents/guardians, administrators, teachers and students.
• ABA training is required.
• Eligible to work in the United States by the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support instruction for small groups of children, assist with toileting, lifting, transfers and personal hygiene.
• Assist with school nurse duties, scribing, note taking and language systems (ASL, SEE 2, PECS, etc.).
• Work with a paraprofessional team to implement daily lesson plans and activities.
• Foster open communication with parents and staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by school leadership; cover when the student is absent.
