Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for outpatient orthopedics and workers' compensation work in the Salt Lake City / St. George areas. This role emphasizes one-on-one care, a four-day workweek, and a collaborative medical team across multiple clinics.

Full-time or part-time options are available, with competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth. Travel between Cottonwood Heights, St. George, and Reno locations may be required as openings arise.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Utah or Nevada, or eligibility for licensure in the applicable state
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary medical team
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills
• Commitment to one-on-one patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide exclusively one-on-one physical therapy sessions with no double-booking or overlapping patients
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Treat a broad range of musculoskeletal injuries, including both acute and chronic conditions
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strengthening, and functional rehabilitation techniques
• Collaborate directly with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical team members
• Complete documentation during patient appointments using an EMR system with AI-assisted tools
• Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants as applicable
• Educate patients on treatment goals, progress, and injury prevention
