Job summary

DIVINE HOMES HEALTHCARE SERVICES LL is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one community support to an individual with developmental disabilities. You will work Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, helping the person build independence through community activities and everyday routines.

The role emphasizes dependable caregiving, clear communication, and patient, respectful interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or related conditions is preferred.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Dependable, patient, and committed to providing high-quality support.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support during community outings.
• Assist with communication, social interaction, and daily living skills.
• Encourage participation in recreational and community-based activities.
• Ensure the individual's health, safety, and well-being at all times.
• Transport the individual to and from scheduled community activities as needed.
• Complete accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication with supervisors and family members.
