Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms and standalone programs.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, implement behavior support plans, collect data on progress, and help students develop life skills within a PBIS CASE framework. A high school diploma is required, and prior school-based experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with students to meet IEP goals, providing accommodations as needed.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement plans, collect data on behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Utilize behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
