Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

The role involves implementing IEP-aligned behavior plans, collecting progress data, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote holistic student development. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma and have prior experience in educational settings applying behavioral

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.
• Ability to lift and assist students with mobility challenges up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavioral support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record data on behaviors and progress.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Execute de-escalation techniques and crisis management when needed.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and supervise students.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
