Job summary

The RN Clinical Nurse at Wellstar Health System is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team delivering individualized, high-quality care in an inpatient oncology unit. The 28-bed unit operates 24/7 care with a focus on adult cancer patients requiring inpatient treatments.

This role reports to Nurse Managers and follows Wellstar's professional practice model, supporting evidence-based care and patient-centered outcomes. FT days are 7am-7pm.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• All certifications required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing process with evidence-based practice.
• Provides patient-centered care respecting diverse populations.
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team and documents thoroughly.
• Supports performance improvement and evidence-based nursing practice.
