About the role:

As a member of Takeda Oncology, your work will contribute to our bold, inspiring vision: We aspire to cure cancer. Here, you'll build a career grounded in purpose and be empowered to deliver your best. As part of the Oncology Sales team, you will report to the Regional Director and work with key stakeholders.

How you will contribute:
  • Implement overall marketing and brand strategy for targeting and deployment of resources to key customers.
  • Formulate effective strategies to achieve sales and product positioning goals within target accounts.
  • Provide on-label clinical data to influence appropriate use of assigned products.
  • Initiate and develop business relationships with high-level decision makers and other influential groups.
  • Utilize account-specific targeted marketing materials to educate and address the needs of key stakeholders.
  • Create account-specific business plans and strategies to gain access to key stakeholders.
  • Provide real-time analysis and input on market conditions for targeted marketing strategies and materials.
  • Apply expertise in your functional/technical area to implement plans and achieve sales goals.
  • Maintain high competence in product knowledge, disease states, industry landscape, and organizational structure.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports for business reviews.
  • Act as a technical/functional resource for colleagues and customers, continuously acquiring higher-level skills.
  • Complete accurate and timely reporting, including territory action plans, expense reports, itineraries, inventory, and budgets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Use company resources prudently, adhering to guidelines.
  • Report adverse events related to products promptly and compliantly.
  • Maintain understanding of distribution and delivery systems for oral molecules and the interface with specialty pharmacy and providers.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of oncology or related specialty pharmaceutical experience.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • High scientific comprehension and ability to communicate with medical professionals in a compliant manner.
  • Strong computer and technical skills for data processing and analysis.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Preferred:
  • Previous oncology launch experience.
  • Established relationships in the geographic area.
  • Previous oncology selling experience.
  • Large account management experience, especially with oncology community practices and cancer centers.
Travel Requirements:
  • 30-50% travel depending on territory.
  • Territory: Atlanta, SOUTH.
Training Requirements:

Successful completion of mandatory product training, including exams, is required. During training, employees are non-exempt and eligible for overtime. Post-training, employees are transitioned to exempt status with eligibility for sales incentives.
