Territory Sales Manager - South

We are currently looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our group for our iST US location based in Las Vegas. The role is to support the Sales Team with driving sales efforts and implementation of strategies to grow the business and customer footprint in the geographical area. This role is remote and must be in the southern US, preferably close to a metropolitan area.

What is the role about?

This role at iST focuses on implementing and executing strategic, operational and distributor sales plans that align with company growth objectives and drive revenue growth. This individual will act as a key sales contact, facilitating customer inquiries for the technical development of sensors and modules from our portfolio, supports mid-level engineering projects, and promotes iST’s highly advanced, engineered standard and customized solutions in the temperature, flow, conductivity, humidity, micro-heaters, bio product groups

What tasks will you perform?

  • Proactively produces and implements sales plans and initiatives to cultivate new and current customer base
  • Develops and updates sales funnel for respective geographical area
  • Partners with sales team to develop new avenues and execute strategies to gain sales development
  • Visits targeted customer base to determine purposes and create custom or standard sensing solutions / modules for expanding regional brand for iST and its offering
  • Establishes products, solutions and projects within the software platforms used to create milestones and performance indicators for sales and management within iST
  • Provide support as a technical resource for sales related inquiries, propose solutions or manufacturing methods to ensure product is fit for purpose and result
  • Work with development team to ensure products met all customer and industry requirements
  • Monitor, collaborate and prioritize projects that are in development and keep customers abreast of progress
  • Implements, aligns and manages sales activities to ensure short and long-term sales objectives
  • Distribute info on market trends and sales influencers to sales and management as found
  • Additional duties as assigned

What do we expect form you?

You will have (required):

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical field or natural sciences and at least 5-7 years of related technical sales experience
  • Ability to network effectively to expand the customer outreach and collaboration. Comfort in dynamically speaking in a group setting or during a presentation.
  • Travel required: up to 40%
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States.

You will have (preferred):

  • Knowledge of passive sensors measurement, PCB and/or module solutions: Temperature, humidity, flow, micro heaters and conductivity measurement principles experience is a plus
  • Solution-oriented personality with a pronounced hands-on mentality within a team-based environment, with familiarity in sales development methods and execution
  • Strong solution orientation with ability to integrate business/customer needs into products with technical realization through collaboration with development team
  • Collaborate with the global sales and development team to ensure effective and transparent product selection and application information for future replication
  • Professional, communicative and motivated within a global collaborative and analytical environment
