Territory Sales Manager - South

Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG, a Swiss company within the globally active Endress+Hauser Group, is a leading provider of physical, chemical, and biological sensors. With approximately 550 employees worldwide, we focus on developing new technologies, building sensors and modules, and strengthening relationships across various industries to foster mutual growth.

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager for our iST US location in Las Vegas. This remote role supports the Sales Team in driving sales efforts and implementing strategies to expand our business and customer base in the southern US, preferably near a metropolitan area.

What is the role about?

This position involves executing strategic, operational, and distributor sales plans aligned with company growth objectives to increase revenue. The individual will serve as a key sales contact, handling customer inquiries related to sensor and module development, supporting engineering projects, and promoting iST's solutions in temperature, flow, conductivity, humidity, micro-heaters, and bio product groups.

What tasks will you perform?
  1. Develop and implement sales plans to grow existing and new customer relationships.
  2. Manage and update the sales funnel for the assigned region.
  3. Collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities and execute strategies for sales growth.
  4. Visit customers to understand their needs and propose custom or standard sensing solutions.
  5. Utilize software platforms to track milestones and performance indicators.
  6. Provide technical support for sales inquiries, proposing solutions to meet customer needs.
  7. Coordinate with the development team to ensure product compliance with customer and industry standards.
  8. Monitor ongoing projects, communicate progress to customers, and prioritize tasks.
  9. Align sales activities with short- and long-term objectives.
  10. Share market trend insights with sales and management teams.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
What do we expect from you?

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, a technical field, or natural sciences.
  • 5-7 years of relevant technical sales experience.
  • Effective networking skills to expand customer outreach.
  • Comfortable speaking in groups and delivering presentations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of passive sensors, PCB, or module solutions related to temperature, humidity, flow, micro-heaters, and conductivity measurement.
  • Solution-oriented with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Ability to integrate business and customer needs into product development.
  • Experience working with global sales and development teams.
  • Professional, communicative, and motivated in a collaborative environment.
