Job summary

UVA Health invites applications for an Oncology Enhanced Scheduler to coordinate complex oncology scheduling across infusion, visits, imaging, labs, and supportive care. You will collaborate with clinicians and care teams to align plans with protocols and resource availability, optimizing access and patient experience.

The role requires advanced knowledge of scheduling workflows, Epic Beacons, and multidisciplinary care coordination, with potential hybrid work arrangements per UVA Health policy.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Experience: 2+ years demonstrated experience in J2235 Patient Access O2.
• License/Certification: CHAA or CRCR within 18 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule complex oncology treatment plans across infusion, provider visits, labs, imaging, injections, blood products, and supportive care.
• Review Epic Beacon Treatment Plans to ensure accuracy and alignment with protocols.
• Independently manage scheduling requests, work queues, referrals, authorizations, cancellations, and rescheduling.
