Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking an Oncology Scheduler on an as needed basis to manage patient appointments across Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Chest Surgery and IVOP using Meditech Expanse and Aria EMR.

The role requires handling multiple phone lines, pre-registration, and coordination with clinical teams. Part-time shifts vary 7:30a–4p, with liability for accurate messages and confidential handling of patient data.

Qualifications

• Two years healthcare office experience; oncology office experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook; experience with Meditech Expanse and Aria preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; professional telephone communication.

Responsibilities

• Answer scheduling related calls and schedule physician visits according to the practice template.
• Maintain multiple phone lines and triage calls to the Triage RN as needed.
• Pre-register patients in Meditech Expanse and Aria EMR; ensure pre-visit paperwork is sent.
• Provide administrative support and coverage for the Oncology Service Line.
