Job summary

The US Oncology Network is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join the Port Arthur Cancer Center clinic in Texas. This full-time role supports patient appointment and testing scheduling, with occasional travel to Beaumont.

Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. The Senior Scheduler will liaison between patients and medical staff, manage referrals and insurance authorizations, and ensure accurate scheduling across the EMR system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years’ experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
• Experience with EMR/scheduling systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and tests efficiently.
• Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Serve as liaison between patient and medical staff.
• Assist with insurance authorizations and referrals in EMR.
• Maintain scheduling templates and support front office operations.
