Job summary

NeoGenomics Laboratories has an opening for an Oncology Sales Specialist in the greater Albany/Syracuse area to grow our presence across Albany, Utica, Potsdam, VT, and Western Massachusetts. The OSS acts as an overlay specialist, supporting oncology customers and coordinating with TBMs and Regional Director to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or business-related field (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of consistent success in oncology sales in diagnostic or pharma (product and service).
• Strong closing skills. Prior attendance at formal sales training courses a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels of the organization.
• Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical and/or laboratory market environment and products.
• Ability to learn and retain product-specific information and articulate benefits to customers.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of NeoGenomics products, services, processes, policies and payer landscape.
• Achieves annual sales and/or profit goals through effective management of customer needs.
• Engages with TBMs to cover Tier A, B, C accounts.
• Collaborates with KAMs and CSS to increase account value on key accounts.
• Facilitates access to oncology groups based on hospital/oncologist landscape and needs.
• Promotes the Company's molecular products within assigned territory.
• Reviews current and prospective customer base to target sales opportunities.
• Provides market feedback to the Regional Director.
• Develops territory competitive intelligence and drives profitability.
