Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager in Levine Cancer Institute – Medical Oncology Pineville, NC. You will lead nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality, coordinated oncology services.

Required BSN and RN licensure in the appropriate state, with oncology nursing and leadership experience preferred. BLS is mandatory, and BSN enrollment must begin within a year of hire with completion within three years.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Minimum two years of Oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Previous management experience.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Enrollment in BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date must be completed within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Supports the manager utilizing systematic approaches to enhance nursing practice and delivery of care.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Coordinates communication during shifts via staff meetings to exchange information.
• Collaborates to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess care and operations.
• Delegates care to appropriate healthcare workers per policy.
