You will collaborate with patients, families, and inter-professional teams, ensure safe, compassionate care, and participate in committees and quality initiatives. A licensed RN in Pennsylvania and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice and collaboration with patients and families
• Cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse populations
• Effective communication; transmitting, receiving, and interpreting information; teamwork
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care; ability to plan and adapt care
• Medication administration and prescriptions for continuing treatment
• Discharge planning and arranging follow-up care
• Clinical judgment for assessment and diagnosis
• Health information documentation and medical recordkeeping
• BLS certification; RN license in PA

Responsabilités

• Interacts with patients, families and staff to deliver care aligned with Jefferson values.
• Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Uses IT to communicate, monitor outcomes, and support ethical decision making.
• Works within nursing and inter-professional teams with open communication and respect.
• Participates in committees and quality/safety improvement activities.
• Contributes to a preceptor role for appropriate staff members.
