Job summary

Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX in Harlingen, TX is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology to join our patient care team. This full-time role offers night shifts and direct clinical patient care on the oncology unit.

Requirements include graduating from an accredited nursing program, current license, and the possibility of a sign-on bonus. Experience in acute care is preferred; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by policy, with BLS already essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• A current RN license to practice in Texas.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by policy; BLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care on the oncology unit.
• Assess, plan and implement nursing care per shift.
• Supervise staff and coordinate patient care with the CNO.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Conform to safety, infection control and quality initiatives.
