Job summary

Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX in Harlingen, TX seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ED—Emergency Department. Full-time nights with possible sign-on bonus. The nurse provides direct patient care, assesses and plans per shift, and coordinates care.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, active RN license, BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable. Preferred BSN/MSN; recent acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• State RN license in good standing.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP depending on unit.
• Recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care per shift.
• Supervise staff and delegate care as needed.
• Coordinate and plan patient care within the medical regime.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Respond to emergencies per Hospital Incident Command System (HICS).
