Job summary

Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX in Harlingen, Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Pediatrics for a full-time night shift. The RN will provide direct clinical patient care and supervise staff, reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer. The position may include a sign-on bonus.

Required: graduate of an accredited nursing program and current licensure; BLS required with ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable. Preferred: recent acute care experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current license to practice as required by state regulations; includes AHA BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care to pediatric patients.
• Supervise staff and coordinate care with the nursing team.
• Administer medications safely according to hospital policy.
• Perform and fulfill hospital incident command system responsibilities as needed.

Education

Nursing degree (RN) from accredited school

Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing (preferred)
