Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Idaho is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Medical/Oncology Unit for night shifts. You will provide hands-on patient care, document activities, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate is adaptable and a team player who can educate patients and families, administer prescribed medications, and develop care plans based on patient needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• Multistate license must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care on the Medical/Oncology Unit.
• Educate patients and families; develop care plans; document care activities.
• Administer medications and treatments; ensure accurate documentation; collaborate with healthcare team.
