Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide hands-on patient care on the Medical Unit during three 12-hour night shifts per week.

You will collaborate with the health-care team, educate patients and families, administer medications, and develop individualized care plans while maintaining accurate documentation. A current RN license and BLS are required, with ACLS/PALS potentially accepted.

Qualifications

• A current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency within 60 days from hire.
• Basic Life Support certification from AHA or ARC is required (ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care in collaboration with the health-care team.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Develop and update care plans based on patient needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and advocate for patients’ physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
