Job summary

WellSpan York Hospital is seeking an on-site Registered Nurse for the 7 South oncology telemetry unit. You will provide professional nursing care to adults 18+ with medical oncology needs, including palliative and end-of-life care, and supporting the administration of chemotherapy.

This full-time night shift (36 hours/week) runs 7pm–7am, with every 3rd weekend and every other holiday required. A sign-on bonus is eligible, and you’ll earn shift and weekend differential pay.

Qualifications

• Diploma program required or, Associates Degree required, BSN preferred.
• Licensure: RN license required upon hire and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to patients on the unit based on the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Acts as primary nurse for assigned patients and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Safely administers prescribed treatments, medications, and nursing interventions.
• Documents patient responses and progress to outcomes; ensures accurate handoffs and communication.
