Job summary

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Registered Nurse (Oncology) in Nashville, TN (37203) for a respected cancer treatment center. The RN will provide professional nursing care to oncology patients following national/company standards and regulations.

Requirements include RN license, BLS, infusion, chemo, and oncology certifications; 2–5 years nursing experience with oncology preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits after 90 days and a company 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• RN license (active/current in practicing state).
• BLS certification.
• Infusion experience required.
• Chemo certification required.
• Oncology certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• 2–5 years nursing experience (1+ year oncology preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for oncology patients following standards and regulations.
• Assess patient health, perform nursing assessments, and report findings to the provider.
• Prepare/administer therapies under physician direction, including meds and blood products.
• Facilitate dose modifications by reviewing labs and protocol treatment plans.
• Perform venipuncture; access implanted ports; manage central lines/catheters.
• Educate patient/family and provide psychosocial support; maintain confidentiality.
• Triage calls, document in chart, coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with exams/procedures and manage patient flow; schedule tests and referrals.
• Program portable infusion pumps; educate patient/caregiver on home use.
