Tennessee Oncology is seeking a dedicated registered nurse with oncology experience to provide direct patient care across treatment stages and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient setting.

The role requires TN RN licensure, chemo/bio experience, and a current BLS card, with oncology certification encouraged within 2 years. Occasional travel to other clinic sites may be required.

Qualifikationen

• RN license in TN or a compact state required.
• Oncology chemo/biotherapy card within 6 months of hire.
• BLS provider card current at hire.
• Oncology certification strongly recommended within 2 years.
• Outpatient facility experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and perform direct patient care with the care team.
• Verify patient data before and during visits.
• Assess and treat symptoms related to disease and treatment.
• Perform telephone triage and triage assessments.
• Administer chemotherapy and related therapies per TO standards.
• Document charges, lab specimens, and EMR entries.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and MAs; travel to other clinics as needed.
• Collaborate with hospital staff for transfusions and supportive care.
• Participate in committees, trainings, and research processes.
