Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide safe, high-quality patient care across cancer treatment stages—from diagnosis to end of life—at convenient community locations in Nashville, TN. You will collaborate with physicians and SCRI staff to manage symptoms, educate patients, and support treatment plans.

Essential duties include IV starts, port access, chemotherapy administration, charting, and coordinating with hospital staff for transfusions and supportive care.

Qualifications

• Current TN or compact state RN license.
• Knowledge of oncology practices and treatments.
• Knowledge of current developments in cancer diagnosis and therapy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and performs direct patient care, collaborating with other care providers and team members.
• Reviews/updates patient data prior to and during visits.
• Administers chemotherapy and other drugs per TO standards after training.
• Documents administration and charges; ensures timely lab specimen collection and anticoagulation management.
• Supervises LPNs, CNAs and MAs; travels to TO clinics as needed.
