UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Monroeville, PA is seeking a Regular Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse, ONC (RN) for the East Medical Oncology office. This role offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and a daylight schedule Monday through Friday, serving as a triage nurse and assisting with infusion/treatment as needed.

The Professional Staff Nurse provides nursing care, leads in patient and family interactions, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Actively participates in department or unit-specific quality improvement efforts.
• Demonstrates accountability for professional development and participates in unit-based governance.
• Develops and maintains productive working relationships and communicates safety hazards.
• Demonstrates knowledge of adult learning principles and provides teaching to patients and families.
• Applies the nursing process to create a healing environment and plans of care with patient involvement.
